We built our own thing first.
It is the reason the studio works the way it does. When the site belongs to you, there is nobody around to accept a slow page on your behalf.
The measuring came from having to live with it
The first thing we built was ours. We designed it, shipped it, and then had to keep using it every day — which is a different job from handing a site over and moving on. We watched what an extra second of load did to it. We found out which of our design decisions had been taste and which ones were costing us something real. That is where the habit came from, and it is why there is a figure next to most of the claims on this site, and a number we refuse to print where we have not run the test.
Then somebody asked us to build theirs
CL-MONT installs interiors on board mega yachts and manufactures nothing at all. One wrong verb on that site would have described a workshop the company does not have, to a yard that would have noticed immediately. zacasniodvzem.si is the opposite kind of visitor: someone who has just lost their driving licence and wants a single answer before they finish reading the first screen. Two industries with nothing in common, and the same job underneath — say the true thing, precisely, to somebody who is deciding.
How we are set up
There are three of us, working from different countries across Europe. There is no office, and there is no account manager between you and the work. You talk to the people building the thing, because there is nobody else here to talk to.
Why there are no names on this page
Studios our size usually lead with a founder. Then the founder turns out not to be the person who ends up on your project. Whoever picks yours up is the person who answers your email, so we would rather you judged the studio than a biography.
